What Is a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels are skin rejuvenation treatments that contain a chemical, such as alpha-hydroxy acid or trichloroacetic acid (TCA), which exfoliates the outer layers of skin. Peels are formulated in a range of depths; deeper peels provide more noticeable results and require more downtime than milder peels. The Obagi® Blue Peel Radiance® is a medium-depth chemical peel that contains salicylic acid. It makes the skin brighter and smoother, and offers the following advantages over TCA and phenol peels:
- Reduced peeling
- Little to no redness
The Blue Peel Radiance can be customized to the condition of the patient’s skin and cosmetic goals.

What Are Facials?

Following an initial evaluation by one of our plastic surgeons, patients receive a deep cleansing facial or micropeel to open the pores. This is followed by a steam treatment and the cosmetic facial.
