Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon, Michael P. Grant, MD, PhD, FACS

Dr. Michael P. Grant is a dual board-certified plastic surgeon and ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and facial aesthetic surgery at our Charlottesville, Virginia, clinic. An internationally recognized expert in facial aesthetic surgery and complex orbital reconstruction, Dr. Grant offers patients an uncommon depth of expertise in the anatomy, function, and aesthetics of the eyes and face.

Dr. Grant serves as Director of Aesthetic Services and medical director of the UVA Plastic Surgery Clinic. He is also Professor of Ophthalmology and Professor of Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial and Oral Health, at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Before joining UVA, Dr. Grant held leadership and academic positions at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He was named the Paul N. Manson Distinguished Professor of Plastic Surgery, and his work included complex craniofacial and orbital reconstruction, as well as research on technologies to make reconstructive surgery safer and more predictable.
